- Always remember that it is a buyers market for small
businesses in Spain making over pricing the number one
reason for not making a quick or timely sale. - It is best to get the price correct rather than having to make
drastic reductions when your time scale to make a move has
passed. Sudden big reductions will be noticed by buyers - Fix any defects and redecorate - create a good image
- Be honest about the trading conditions
- Allow up to 12 months to find a buyer
- Try selling sole agency for 4 months saving on high fees
- If you get no interest consider a price reduction
- Don´t be afraid to have an agents for sale sign
- Never take a sole agency based on the highest sale price
- Never use sales jargon like " genuine reason for sale"
- Keep your books in order with till roll journals and stock
